If you’re a wedding invitation designer, and you’re looking to find the best printers for your custom wedding invitations, look no further! This list is my favorite places to print wedding stationery, and all of these companies offer wholesale discounts, high-quality invitation papers, and top of the line print quality. I have personally tested all of these printers (I’ve been a stationery designer for a decade now!) and highly recommend them all.
So let’s talk about where to print custom wedding invitations and stationery!

Digital printing is our favorite print method – cost-effective, fast turnaround, and it handles colorful invitations beautifully! We have a few recommended digital printers for stationery:
PrintsWell is my absolute go-to printer for wedding invitations! They carry all the basics that you will need – invitations, folded cards, envelope liners, colorful envelopes, die-cut shapes, and they even offer foil stamping and white ink printing. They also carry additional things like notepads, coasters, and some printing on colored papers.
My favorite thing about working with PrintsWell is their online ordering system – it’s so easy to use and you always know when your prints are going to ship (usually in 1-2 business days). There are a lot of safeties in place to ensure you don’t upload the wrong file or select the wrong options, like this handy previewer that shows folds and die cut shapes!

As a PrintsWell partner, you can get $25 off your first order with them if you use my discount link! I highly recommend ordering their sample pack so you can feel the papers and see all the envelope colors in person.
LCI is another incredible digital printer – they offer a lot of colored paper options which I love! You can simply purchase paper and envelopes in a variety of colors from LCI, or you can order those with printing on them. LCI offers custom laser-cut shapes and you can combine the laser-cutting with printing as well! They offer a lot of additional things that PrintsWell doesn’t, but also have great standard card and envelope printing as well.
LCI has a quick turnaround and is so great to work with – their customer service is top-notch! I would definitely recommend grabbing their sample packs to see all the colors and examples of their printing. Try out LCI Paper!
My 3rd recommendation for digital printing invitations is Cards + Pockets. They are primarily a card and envelope supplier, but a lot of people don’t realize they do amazing printing as well! They offer printing on all of their (many!) stock colors, including some proprietary colors you can’t get anywhere else. You can choose from CMYK, black, or white ink printing on their stock.
You can also combine their printing with laser-cutting, including some standard shapes, and some more complex or custom ones. Plus, I love Cards + Pockets for stocking up on supplies like pockets, gatefolds, envelopes, and cards of all shapes and sizes.
Definitely check out printing with Cards + Pockets!
Here’s a video showing how to set up files for digital printing! These are common specs, but not every printer will require the exact same things. In general, you’ll want:
If you need something a little more complicated, then you might want to chat with a different invitation printer! Some of my favorites are:
Stationer to Stationer is primarily a letterpress printer, but they also offer die-cutting and some other specialized services (like edge painting!). They do incredible work and can walk you through the process if you’re new to more specialized printing – think of them as your printing BFF.
You can use our code for $25 off your first order with Stationer to Stationer: LANEY-RU-S2S-2025

Czar Press is also known for more elaborate and specialized printing – from digital to letterpress, foil to sculpted embossing, there are very few projects they can’t accomplish. You’ll want a longer turnaround time for these specialty services, but they do lots of intricate, multi-process work beautifully!
Use code LANEY10 in your quote request for 10% off your first order and a free Czar Press Sample Kit (shipped with order to you)* (some terms may apply)

PrintsWell also offers foil stamping in addition to digital printing! They can combine digital and foil, which is really helpful, especially if you want things to match but don’t want foil on all the pieces of the suite. I love using their foil stamping for invitations! Here’s an example of PrintsWell’s foil stamping on my holiday cards!

Again, you can get $25 off your first order with my link for PrintsWell!
If you’d like to print in-house, here are a few printers that come highly recommended by the stationery community. I highly recommend getting some good vendors in your pocket, because printing in-house is a lot more complex (and a lot more math!) than you might think. A lot of new designers think it’s the right way to go, but it can take a lot of time away from your designs, marketing, admin and everything else you need to do in your business!
Let me know your favorite places to print custom stationery! I can’t wait for you to try out some of these recommendations, I know you’ll love working with them.
